FAQ's

What age are Skip Hop activity centres suitable for?

Our multi-stage activity centres, like the Discoverosity and Explore & More ranges, are designed to grow with your baby, typically from around 4 months through toddlerhood — check individual product pages for specific age guidance.

Do Zoo 3-in-1 ride-on toys grow with my toddler?

Yes, the Zoo 3-in-1 Ride On Scooter is designed to convert across stages as your toddler develops their balance and mobility.

Are Skip Hop toys safe for babies and toddlers?

Yes, all our toys are designed and tested to meet strict child safety standards, using durable, child-friendly materials.

Yes, all orders over $99 qualify for free shipping anywhere in New Zealand.

What's the difference between an activity gym and an activity centre?
An activity gym is typically a flat mat with an overhead arch of hanging toys, suited to babies who aren't sitting up yet. An activity centre usually has a seat or stands upright with attached toys, suited to babies who can sit or stand with support.

Is the Discoverosity Activity Centre genuinely Montessori-inspired?
Yes — it's designed around open-ended, hands-on play principles associated with Montessori-style learning, rather than screens or battery-powered lights and sounds.
